Michelle Cox

I have been married for 19 years and am the mother of four children. There was a time when I needed serious help figuring out how to be the best parent for my kids. What I knew wasn’t working and I found myself doing all the things I swore I would never do while watching my children do all the things "my kids would never..." do.
It was during this time 12 years ago that I attended my first parenting class, met and began working with a parent coach, and began what has grown into a LOVE of building family connection. I am still learning and growing as a parent myself. I don't believe that process ever stops.
For the past 5 years, I have had the privilege of working with families as a parent educator and family life coach. Two years ago I founded Build Family Connection where I interact with families who desire greater connection and unity through my writing, continuing education classes, workshops, and in-person and telephone coaching. I believe that as we learn to enjoy life without living it through someone else’s eyes, we find confidence and peace to navigate our journey. My goal is to strengthen families one moment at a time.
